We are a medical company, so a social purpose is at the heart of our activities. “We provide tests to help people take care of their health and live longer” – this is how we’ve defined our mission. We also view the environment through the lens of health, which is why we act in solidarity to mitigate climate change and manage resources responsibly. Our ESG reports reflect our ambitions and actions, as well as the principles and mechanisms designed to ensure that we grow in a sustainable way. In 2025, we published our first report aligned with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), audited by certified public accountants.

ESG strategic goals Sustainability management

We have defined our ESG strategic goals for 5 key areas of our impact. They are in line with Diagnostyka’s organisational culture, business objectives and responsible business standards. Thanks to their implementation, we contribute to the implementation of 7 Sustainable Development Goals defined by the UN.

More for patients' health

We want to influence not only the health of our patients, but also the approach to diagnostic tests. We want to prove that taking care of what matters most does not have to come with strain or stress. The diagnostics we offer are simple, accessible, and friendly.

In 2024, we added 117 new tests, as well as an expanded range of imaging and comprehensive diagnostic services – we now offer over 4,000 types of tests.
In 2024, we provided diagnostic services to over 25 million patients, including 600,000 as part of the "Prevention 40 Plus" program.
Accessibility of testing – we now offer over 1,150 collection points. 80% of Poland’s population lives within 10 km of one of our locations.
The Customer Experience Department has introduced instructional materials and therapeutic fairy tales to help prepare both caregivers and young patients for blood collection.
Annual accreditations and certifications confirm the quality of our services in accordance with ISO 15189, ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, and other standards.
We thoroughly analyze complaints related to life- and health-threatening situations and draw lessons from adverse events. According to surveys, 90% of patients are satisfied with our service.

Healthy planet More for the planet

More for the planet means more for health. Climate change is already causing noticeable health impacts across Europe. We are adapting our operations to these changes while actively working to minimize the environmental burden generated by Diagnostyka, as much as possible.

Our environmental actions include:

    We contract the purchase of green electricity.

    In 2024, 41.5% of the electricity directly purchased by Diagnostyka S.A. came from renewable sources.

    We calculate our carbon footprint.

    Direct and indirect emissions (Scopes 1, 2, and 3) are measured in accordance with the GHG Protocol.

    We are expanding our low-emission fleet and optimizing courier routes.

    We already have 55 electric vehicles and 25 charging stations across 9 locations.

    Resource efficiency.

    We optimize the use of resources such as reagents for tests, disposable sampling and testing equipment, disinfectants and cleaning agents, paper, waste containers, and protective equipment for employees.

At the heart of our social commitment is promoting regular laboratory testing as the foundation of health prevention.

Promoting regular laboratory testing

In 2024, our webinars attracted 32,000 participants, and we released 3 episodes of our new podcast #MoreForHealth.

In our knowledge hub focused on lifestyle diseases and preventive testing, we published 770 articles, and the website was visited 20 million times.

Our preventive health campaigns reached approximately 5 million views in 2024 and received international recognition, including the Grand Prix at the Performance Marketing Diamonds EU 2024.

In collaboration with microscopic photographer Małgorzata Lisowska, we launched the #New-Forms Project. The exhibition A Story Written in the Body (in three acts) showcased microphotographs of biological material – cancer cells, tissues after chemotherapy, and healthy cells post-mastectomy. The exhibition was displayed, among other places, at a Warsaw collection point and an NFZ (National Health Fund) branch.

As part of the “Tell Her About It. In Her Best Interest” campaign, we distributed 500 vouchers for a hormonal test package for women.

We also took part in creating the Longevity e-book in collaboration with Ewa Chodakowska.
