Diagnostyka was established in Krakow in 1998. Over the next years, it grew to become a sector leader, also in terms of quality and implemented technology, computer and management solutions.
We currently operate a network of around 180 laboratories and 1,100 Sampling Labs throughout the country. We perform more than 150 million tests annually for approximately 20 million patients.

Jakub Swadźba
President of the Management Board
He received his education and titles - doctor habilitated of medical sciences and specialist in internal medicine - at Collegium Medicum at the Jagiellonian University and at the Pomeranian Medical Academy. In 1998, he founded DIAGNOSTYKA, currently the largest network of medical laboratories in Poland, where he is the President of the Management Board. Privately, he is passionate about skiing and sailing.
At the company, he is responsible for development strategy, digital transformation, investments and the work of the medical division. Apart from his active managerial duties, he is constantly involved in the medical community, he authored and co-authored many scientific papers, is a participant and speaker at industry conferences, as well as the Head of the Department of Laboratory Medicine at the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski Krakow University. He is the recipient of many prestigious awards, including “Wektor” awarded by Pracodawcy RP (the Polish Employers), the Polish Business Council Award and the EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year.
Dariusz Zowczak
Vice-President of the Management Board
Doctor by profession - a graduate of the Medical University and the University of Economics in Wroclaw, and manager by avocation. After graduation, he formed a team of the Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department of the Wrocław Provincial Hospital, the Medical Department of the Wrocław branch of the National Health Fund (then the Sickness Fund); he also held the position of Medical Director of the Marciniak Specialist Hospital in Lower Silesia. He joined DIAGNOSTYKA in 2004 and the Company's Management Board in 2007.
He is in charge of the legal area and sales, and supervises the activities of the individual regions. Among his professional interests he mentions management, acquisitions and the creation of a network of Sampling Labs, while his hobbies include travel and the culinary arts.
Marta Rogalska-Kupiec
Vice-President of the Management Board
She holds a master's degree in molecular biology. Having obtained her degree at the Jagiellonian University, she started working at the university as an Assistant at the Institute of Molecular Biology and then continued her education at the Cracow University of Economics, completing studies in personnel management and integrated logistics systems in the company. Prior to joining DIAGNOSTYKA in 2005, she was the Head of Commercial Departments of medical industry companies, as well as the Head of the Health Services Planning Department in the National Health Fund, Małopolska Branch.
As Vice-President of the Company's Management Board, she is in charge of the company's operations, coordination of laboratories and Sampling Labs, as well as supervising the administration and personnel areas. She is involved in the ESG and sustainable business development. In her private life, she is passionate about travel, world cuisine and sports, especially tennis and cycling.

Paweł Chytła

He joined Diagnostyka in 2023. Previously, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of the European leader in ceramic industry development and profitability, Cerrad Group, the Financial Director and Board Member of the global leader in flooring industry, Tarkett Polska, as well as the Chief Financial Officer and Board Member of FoodCare, a food industry group. Before that, as the Finance and Controlling Manager, he handled finances for Stock Polska, an alcohol industry company. He gained his initial experiences at Eurocash Group. He holds a Master's degree in Finance and Investment from the University of Economics in Katowice and postgraduate studies in Accounting from the University of Economics in Poznań. Additionally, he completed English Philology studies at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin.
At Diagnostyka, as the Vice President of Finance, he is responsible for all financial matters of the Group. He oversees departments such as Operational Controlling, Strategic Controlling, Accounting, Treasury, Taxes, HR & Payroll, Legal, and M&A. Privately, he is a passionate guitarist and sports enthusiast, particularly fond of running.
